Candle Lighting & Placement
We can supply and light special grave candles on any tending service or as a stand alone service. Candles are placed on the grave site and lit and are then allowed to burn, in our presence, for approximately 20 mins. This is so that there is no danger of an unattended candle causing avoidable damage. When added to a grave or memorial tending visit, the cost of supplying and lighting a grave candle is just £8.00 and when taken as a stand alone service the cost is just £15 which includes the candle, the placing and the extinguishing of it. A free photograph of the candle in position is also included as well as a personal message from you.
These candles are in fact meant to burn for several hours if not days but in order to conform to cemetery and graveyard regulations we are only allowed to let it burn if we are in attendance. They are ideal as a special date tribute to a loved one.
